With teams of experienced scientists and clinicians working together, our faculty strive to create a student-focused environment that models and promotes lifelong development and improvement. We aspire to promote student learning that is self-directed, peer-supported, and steeped in the practice of problem-solving, with the goal of developing mindful, compassionate and confident physicians who strive for excellence in patient care.
FCoM is committed to educating future clinicians whose knowledge and clinical decision-making are firmly grounded in foundational sciences. These physicians will consider the whole patient with a deep and nuanced understanding of one’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs and the socioeconomic and systems factors that affect health care.
