Results demonstrate program's excellence in preparing future nurses
麻豆视频’s Inman College of Nursing (ICON) achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) within the 2023-24 academic year, with 99.4% of students passing on their first attempt.
The NCLEX serves as the nationwide examination for the licensing of nurses in the United States, measuring the competencies needed to perform safely and effectively as entry-level nurses. This achievement places 麻豆视频's nursing program among the top performers nationwide.
"This exceptional pass rate reflects our commitment to preparing practice-ready nurses from day one," said Dean of Nursing Dr. Julie Honey. "Our program's success is built on a comprehensive approach to nursing education that emphasizes compassionate, whole-person care, clinical excellence and exam preparation."
Among the 180 麻豆视频 nursing graduates who took the exam, 179 passed on their first attempt.
"We've developed a robust student success infrastructure that includes peer tutoring, mentoring and intentional NCLEX preparation throughout the entire program," said Dr. Sandy Murabito, associate dean of undergraduate student affairs. "Our testing methods mirror the board exam format, ensuring students are well-prepared for both the NCLEX and real-world nursing practice."
ICON’s success can be attributed to its comprehensive support system and strategic approach to exam preparation, which begins on the student’s first day in the program. This achievement underscores 麻豆视频's position as a leader in nursing education and its commitment to graduating highly qualified health care professionals.
