Competitions @ TKJA
As an affiliate member of the Australian Kodokan Judo Association the TKJA is aligned with Federation Mondial De Judo (IJF) and the Confederation of Australian Sport. We uphold the Rules of Judo as laid out by the IJF, and those rules can be downloaded by clicking on the links under the heading of Competition Rules.
More importantly, however, we firmly believe in and uphold Jigoro Kano Sensei's belief in the Spirit of Judo, and believe that his attitude toward Judo, both on and off the mat must certainly circumscribe all other rules. It should also be the same for us as a club and individuals.

TKJA Clubs holds monthly in-house club competitions, with the winner determined my points majority, and awarded the Club Trophy at the end of year dinner.
